The WECM'23 - 2nd Workshop on Experimental and Computational Mechanics will take place at the University of Pisa, Italy, from 20 to 22 September 2023.
WECM'23 aims at gathering researchers, who use both computational and experimental approaches in Solid and Fluid Mechanics, to foster mutual knowledge and promote collaboration across disciplines. WECM'23 will be specially addressed to MSc and PhD students hoping to make them grow in love for scientific research, with particular attention to Mechanics, and - in the spirit of its motto - inviting them to pursue "virtue and knowledge". To this aim, emphasis will be on discussion and exchange of ideas between speakers and attendees, rather than to formal presentations.
During the workshop, the Final Meeting of the "Canaletto" Project titled "Damage Identification in Advanced Composite Materials with Elastic Couplings" (DIACMEC) will be held.
Abstract submission will be open from 20 February 2023 to 31 May 2023.
