DIACMEC (Damage Identification in Advanced Composite Materials with Elastic Couplings) aims at supporting the mobility of scientists from the University of Pisa and the Lublin University of Technology (LUT), Poland, conducting researches in the field of advanced composite materials. Focus will be on fibre-reinforced composite laminates exhibiting elastic coupling effects and their peculiar damage phenomena. Theoretical models will be developed and experimental activities will be conducted. The Italian and Polish research teams will share their respective scientific knowledge and skills, as well as their specialised software tools and experimental equipment.
