TERSA
Tecnologie Elettriche e Radar per Sapr Autonomi
TERSA aims to develop a prototype of fixed-wing RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aerial System, SAPR in Italian) with a max take-off weight of 35 kg with the following characteristics:
- Electric propulsion system of high flight autonomy;
- Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) for surveillance missions even in hostile climatic conditions;
- Sense&Avoid system, consisting of a dedicated miniSAR and a video camera, able to identify fixed or moving obstacles and maneuver to avoid them;
- Leading partner: Sky Eye Systems ; other partners: UNIPI (DICI+DESTEC+DII), Free Space, Echoes, Carbon Dream.
